The Vintage Millie Blouse celebrates an original peasant blouse style, featuring natural linen fabric with beautiful story-telling cotton embroideries.
Steeped in the recognisable signature of a Leila Ray blouse, this garment features hand embroidery created in the last century, and reworked today to create an heirloom piece to wear now, next season and onwards.
All our garments are handmade in coastal Dorset, England.
The Vintage Millie Blouse
Features a scoop neckline, 3/4 length puff sleeves and a front V opening with tassel bow tie fastening. 'A' line silhouette gathered at the neckline. Handkerchief panels overlaid at front and back. Made in a 100% natural sustainable reused vintage linen fabric. Handmade vintage cotton crochet trim.
Size: Best fits a UK 10-12-14 today. Will be lovely but looser on a size 10.
Length back neck to hem: 26ins
Armpit to Armpit: 20ins with gathers draped loosely. Width across hem flat 22ins.
Garment care: hand wash in warm water, wring gently, air dry, press when slightly damp for a beautiful finish.
Please note that there may be one or two small marks on the vintage fabrics due to age. All textiles are repurposed vintage or deadstock unused old textile pieces. Providing an exact date and source is often difficult but we do source locally.
