The Vintage Rosa Blouse celebrates an original 70s blouse style, featuring spectacular antique grosgrain ribbed silk fabric with beautiful story-telling Chinese silk embroideries. This chalky matt coloured silk carries a light reflective lustre of pure platinum.
Steeped in the recognisable signature of a Leila Ray blouse, this garment features embroidery created in the last century, and reworked today to create an heirloom piece to wear now, next season and onwards.
All our garments are handmade in coastal Dorset, England.
The Vintage Rosa Blouse
Features a stunning silk embroidered panel at centre front. Hight ruffle neckline, 1/2 length puff sleeves and a front opening with silk tassel bow details. 'A' line silhouette gathered at the neckline. Made in a 100% natural sustainable reused vintage heavyweight bridal silk fabric. Handmade vintage bobbin lace sleeve trim.
Size: Best fits a UK 10-12 today. Will be lovely but looser on a size 10.
Length back neck to hem: 26ins
Armpit to Armpit: 20ins with gathers draped loosely. Width across hem flat 22ins.
Garment care: hand wash in warm water, wring gently, air dry, press when slightly damp for a beautiful finish.
Please note that there may be one or two small marks on the vintage fabrics due to age. All textiles are repurposed vintage or deadstock unused old textile pieces. Providing an exact date and source is often difficult but we do source locally.
